I study the interaction of inflammation and mechanical loading in endochondral ossification, with osteoarthritis as the disease of interest. My research seeks to develop loading protocols that allow for a mechanically-regulated endochondral ossification response in order to examine the effects of anti-inflammatory mediators / compounds.
