Research interests: Molecular and cell biology of connective tissue diseases, tissue repair processes, genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying tissue scarring and fibrosis, development and use of in vivo systems of human disease using transgenic and genetically modified conventional and conditional knock-outs to study disease mechanisms and identify and validate drug targets.
